One of the better written books

I brought this book hoping to get a better understanding of the Audio aspect of Java but i decided to start the book from the beginning and I got to say this is a pretty well written book, it doesn't beat you over the head with ton and tons of inheritance early on and when it does use custom classes that are created for inheritance its written so easily and smooth that anybody from a beginner to advadnced can roll with it.
For example the first inheritance program allows you to either have a default screen with a title or modify it so you can make it how you want it and again its written easily enough for anyone to understand I keep this book along side my Java Computer Science by Jesse Liberty because these two books are some of the more easily to follow and learn books,
Out of the all of the chapters in this book the only one where nothing worked was chapter 14 multi-threading
where they want you to install the Apple Quicktime player and Quicktime for Java, I follwed the instructions,
and installed it the way the book tells you to and there were no indications of any problems when i typed out
the code but when i ran the program it kept generating all kinds of exceptions and since every program in that chapter is set up the same way there was no point in continuing on that chapter.
I was looking at the beginning of the book to look for any way to contact the author in case i ran into a problem
but i couldn't find anything, so for that one chapter i give this book four stars. However i still reccomend that
beginners try this book.
