I LOVE this book

I'm a CVT at a very busy Emergency & Specialty hospital. We specialize in small animals (mostly cats & dogs) with a wide variety of specialty services available. I mainly work in the ECC/ICU departments and therefore, care for all cases that are seen thru the whole hospital system. While I have a good basic knowledge of anesthesia and have attended many CE opportunities to learn more, I found this book and have not put it down. The author is amazing in her knowledge and the ease as to which she shares it. She is passionate about veterinary medicine and it shows through her text. Some of my fellow co-workers, who are VTS in ECC and have been doing critical anesthesia for years, ask to borrow the book at times. It is a great book no matter what your level to help you understand the 'whys' and 'hows' of what the body is doing physiologically when an animal is pre-, under, or post anesthesia.

i bought this book for my daughter as she was in college studying to be a vet tech. I never read it so i guess it has in it what it's supposed to have for her learning experience.
